Eir-Anne Edgar is a Ph.D. candidate in the University of Kentucky's department of English. Her research focuses on feminist, queer, and African American texts of the Cold War era and issues of American citizenship. Eir-Anne was the co-editor of disClosure: A Journal of Social Theory, Issue 21, Spring 2012. She has written about Charlotte Perkins Gilman's novel Herland in World Literary History and drag performance in "RuPaul's Drag Race" in Studies in Popular Culture.
