Susan Gail Taylor is a doctoral student in English with a focus in rhetoric and composition at the University of South Florida. She holds a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in Professional and Technical Writing and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science all from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Her academic interests include first-year composition pedagogy, composition theory, language theory, autoethnography, and the intersection between rhetoric and technology. She plans to examine digital and physical technical documents from the no-kill animal shelter reform debate and assess their rhetorical strategies for her dissertation.
