Madelyn Tucker Pawlowski is a PhD student seeking her degree in Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English at the University of Arizona where she also teaches business writing and freshman composition. Her research interests include genre analysis of textbooks and zines, and the rhetoric of print culture and the publishing industry more broadly. She is the editor of the 35th and 36th editions of the first-year writing textbook A Student’s Guide to First-Year Writing.
